Art Explorers - Creative Art Classes for Children

art explorer.png

Art Explorers is on throughout the year on a Wednesday at 3.30pm during term time and art camps are on during some of the school holidays.

Art Explorers is all about giving children a chance to experiment with art materials, techniques and ideas. It is about the process of creating art not necessarily the final product. We discuss famous art and artists while connecting to the art in literature and music. We take a look at how art is a part of design, science and engineering and even math. Projects include working with different types of paint, paper, clay, fibres or textiles. Each project is linked to the elements of art.

Club and camp sessions are for children in P2-P7. They run with a maximum of 12 children and are lead by a GTC qualified teacher. All materials are provided.
