Join us for a live viewing of a new documentary which shares the stories of refugees who have rebuilt their lives in Argyll and Bute.
It has been 10 years since the first Syrian refugees arrived in Argyll and Bute. This film tells the stories of those families who have settled in the area after fleeing conflict in Syria, Ukraine, Sudan and Afghanistan.
Through personal reflections and everyday moments, it explores how welcoming communities can help people feel safe, rebuild their lives and contribute to the places they now call home.
"Seeing the film makes you feel proud to be Scottish. It's an absolute privilege to be a part of what's happening here in the West Coast of Scotland." - Jennifer, resident.
Produced by local filmmakers James Gray and Andy Crabb, this 30-minute documentary centres on the voices of people who now live and work in Argyll and Bute.
Join us for a community meal from 6pm before this celebratory film
