AGM Postponement

As you know, we have been working with external accountants since March to complete and then audit the FY23/24 accounts. This has not been an easy task, and has at times seemed insurmountable.

The auditors were on track to complete this 2 weeks ago, allowing us to hold our AGM tomorrow night, but a last minute legal issue threw a spanner in the works.

That issue has now been resolved, but the fall out has meant that these historic accounts are still not finalised.

We met with our auditors earlier today and had hoped to have draft accounts to present to you tomorrow night, but were told that these will not now be ready until 7th October.

As such, we have decided to postpone the AGM until we have accounts to present to you. We aim to send these out on 8th October, with an AGM two weeks thereafter.

OSCR - the body who regulate charities - have been kept informed, and we are being supported by DTAS to ensure we navigate this situation properly.
