SOUP! was inspired by the tastes and smells of our grandparents' soups and a desire to bring people around them together.

It's about the importance of sensory memory and recipe legacy - those ancient connections we don't want to lose. It takes the form of a live workshop and performance by two dancing chefs whose unusual cooking style, featuring clowning antics and nonsense language, leads to some hilarious kitchen mishaps and messes!

The inter-generational conversation gets people giggling and thinking about the joy of cooking and eating together. SOUP is a constantly evolving broth, with each workshop generating an archive that ‘feeds’ into the live work.
