LOCAL showcases the best produce our area has to offer, all donated by local producers who are passionate about community, culture, and bringing people together to celebrate how special this place is.
This year we're partnering with Andy MacEachan, Head Chef at The Olive Garden (Mediterranean Restaurant of the Year - Winner 2023 and Highly Commended 2024). His philosophy is simple - buy the best produce you can and cook it really, really well - particularly when it comes to local fin and shellfish.
Andy will be assisted in the kitchen by Evie Edgington, a mega talented young chef who was named as one of UHI Argyll's 'Rising Stars' on completion of her apprenticeship in 2024. Evie has shown a flair for desserts, and we can't wait to see what she comes up with!
Optional wine flight also available, comprising 3 different wines, matched and presented by wine expert Eva Franceschi (Corney and Barrow Wine Merchant).
Last year's event sold out quickly, and the wait list for tickets was up at 40 before we closed it... so we recommend moving fast if you want to come along this year.
