🎨 Exhibition Launch: Skateboarding the Scottish Islands with a Sketchbook
Saturday 31st May, 6PM at The Rockfield Centre

Join us for the official launch of Andy Spinks’ brand new exhibition, Skateboarding the Scottish Islands with a Sketchbook — the result of an epic journey across the Scottish islands by skateboard. Along the way, Andy painted, collected, wrote, and documented the landscapes and stories he encountered, bringing it all together in this vibrant, personal exhibition.

The launch takes place as part of our Spring Festival, which kicks off at 4PM with live mural painting, DJs, street food, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere at The Rockfield Centre. At 6PM, we’ll gather upstairs where Andy will introduce the exhibition and share a bit about the journey behind it — and we’ll keep the evening going downstairs with more music and community vibes.

The exhibition launch is also part of Adventure Oban’s Big Bike Weekend, which runs all across Oban from 30th May–1st June — so it’s a great time to be out and about, getting involved, and celebrating creativity, movement, and community.

We will finish the weekend with a film premier of Andy’s short film, followed by the fantastic documentary ‘They Created A Monster’

RSVP via the link so we know you're coming — it’s free to attend, and if you'd like to make a donation to help support future community events at The Rockfield Centre, we’d really appreciate it.
