Live Music

Michelle Willis is a Canadian singer-songwriter and keyboard player based in New York City.

After building an impressive resume touring in two bands led by David Crosby, supporting Grammy Award-winners Snarky Puppy across the globe, and collaborating with a range of artists including Becca Stevens, Michael McDonald, Laura Mvula, Zac Brown Band, and Iggy Pop, Michelle released her sophomore album, Just One Voice.

'Just One Voice', features performances by Michael Mcdonald, Grégoire Maret, Crosby, Stevens, and Taylor Ashton. Tonight, Michelle will be playing an intimate solo concert on piano, voice and guitar, featuring songs and stories from her solo career, covers, and collaborations with David Crosby, The Lighthouse Band and Three Metre Day.

“Sharp, hip, singer-songwriter music. If it were 1973 all over again, Willis would be touring with Dylan and releasing acclaimed albums for a generation to fall in love with."

Support Act: Mango Lassie

"Scottish singer songwriter, Mango Lassie, finds peace, comfort and inspiration in her beautifully wild surroundings which heavily influence her music. Mango Lassie's songwriting tends to be storytelling in nature; she hopes the use of vivid imagery conveyed in her lyrics combined with her playful melodies guide the listener into a state of relaxation that allows their mind to follow her on a journey as she explores the world by foot, bike and in the water.

Mango Lassie has recently released her debut EP ‘Cycles’; a collection of 4 songs each of which was inspired by a cycle trip one one of four different locations in Scotland during one of the four seasons. Over the past year, Mango Lassie revisited the locations that inspired the songs on ‘Cycles’ and, using a GoPro attached to her helmet, captured footage of the cycle trips to create videos for each track. By incorporating footage of local wildlife and plants Mango Lassie hoped to capture the essence of each season and believes that observing and attuning to Mother Natures own patterns and cycles offers an inner peace and deep sense of security"
